Publishing Agreement

The International Journal of Environmental and Rural Development (IJERD) is committed to its authors and it extends all appropriate ethical, legal defenses, and protections for authors and their research work and submissions. The IJERD Publishing Agreement outlines and details the author’s rights and responsibilities, as well as IJERD’s policies on copyright and distribution. The IJERD Publishing Agreement is available for author review.

Authors must sign the IJERD Publishing Agreement prior to article publication. The agreement document is sent to authors during the last proofreading stage.

Publishing Agreement

  • By submitting a manuscript, authors affirm that they retain the authority to publish the work and that it is original, has not been previously published, and is not simultaneously under consideration elsewhere.
  • All authors of a manuscript must agree to its submission and accept responsibility for the manuscript’s content, appropriate citations, acknowledgments, and compliance with ethical publication standards.
  • The corresponding author must have the authority to act on behalf of all co-authors regarding publication matters and correspondence.
  • Manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process focusing on accuracy, importance, originality, and format style. Authors are responsible for  revising manuscripts as required by the peer review process. .
  • Submission involves payment of manuscript processing fees. Refunds for rejected or withdrawn papers are not available
  • IJERD retains publishing rights and uses Creative Commons licensing to promote open access dissemination.
