From April 2026, authors retain copyright but are required to complete and sign a Declaration of Publishing Rights Transfer<\/a> form to grant the ISERD permission to reproduce the work in the journal under the CC BY-NC 4.0<\/a> (Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International) license. This license allows users to share and adapt an article, non-commercially, as long as appropriate credit is given. Failure to complete the Rights Transfer form in a timely manner may delay publication of the article.<\/p>\n The copyright in articles published before April 2026 belongs to ISERD. Articles published before this date can be used under the terms of the CC BY-NC 4.0<\/a> license.<\/p>\n Some funding bodies require articles funded by them to be published under a specific Creative Commons license. Check with the relevant funding bodies to ensure that you comply with any mandates.<\/p>\n There are many costs associated with publishing scholarly journals, such as those of managing peer review, copy editing, typesetting, and online hosting. To cover these costs in the absence of journal subscriptions, authors (or their representatives) are asked to pay article processing charges (APCs).<\/p>\n The journal charges a fee of 300 USD for all manuscripts submitted to the journal. If an accepted article is six typeset pages or less, there is no additional charge.
